The mission
I spent over a decade writing code for other people's visions. I'm proud of that work — but something shifted the day she arrived.
Going indie isn't about ego or freedom. It's about being present. About doing work that matters. About looking back in ten years knowing I made the call when it counted.
My wife and daughter are the whole reason. Everything else is just code.
I've been writing code professionally for over a decade — PHP, React, React Native, the lot. Shipped eCommerce platforms, property management tools, temperature monitoring systems. Now I'm going indie. Freelancing, building my own products, documenting the whole mess.
I have ADHD — which means I can disappear into a codebase for eight hours without noticing, or completely lose the thread halfway through a sentence. It's a feature, mostly. Based in the East Midlands with my wife and daughter, who are the whole reason I'm doing this.
